Accessibility Statement
MapKnock should work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. This statement says what we aim for, what we do, and how to tell us about a barrier.
1. Our standard
We design and test the website, the privacy choices page, the opt-in and text message pages and the app against WCAG 2.2 level AA. That includes keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient color contrast in light and dark modes, text alternatives, labeled form fields, and layouts that work at phone width and when zoomed.
2. How we check
- Automated accessibility checks run on every public page at desktop, tablet and phone sizes as part of our release tests.
- Our end-to-end tests drive key flows by their accessible names and roles, the way assistive technology reads them.
- We fix reported barriers in order of their impact.
3. Known limitations
The interactive map is visual by nature. Everything you can do on the map, such as finding a home, seeing its details and adding it to a list, can also be done through search and lists without using the map. Some third-party content, such as map imagery, may not fully meet the standard.
4. Tell us about a barrier
Email legal@mapknock.com with the page and what got in your way. We will reply within five business days and, while we fix it, help you get what you need another way, such as by email.
